What you get

Weldon Marine gives planning arithmetic for recreational boating. Results depend on the numbers you enter and on simple models (straight-line rode, steady burn and speed). Real conditions differ. You remain responsible for your boat, your fuel, your anchoring and your passengers; nothing here replaces your own judgement, your boat's manual, or the law where you boat.

The Boat Card

Anyone with your card's private link can open and change it, so keep the link private. Lost links cannot be recovered: we store only a scrambled form of the key. A card not opened for 400 days and without a running Helm Pass is deleted. You can delete your card at any time from the card itself.

The Helm Pass

$1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, through PayPal, once payments open (until then the site is in preview and nothing is charged). Cancel any time in PayPal; the Pass runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. A card with a Pass that is still set to renew cannot be deleted until the Pass is cancelled, so you are never billed for a card that is gone. Questions about a charge: contact WeldonPC.com through weldonpc.com/contact.

Fair use

Limits keep the site running: 20 new cards per network address a day, 400 changes per card a day, 10 boats and 1,000 fill-ups per boat on the Pass.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, WeldonPC.com is not liable for decisions made with these numbers.
